Event Description

Come learn why and how a grazing operation can incorporate trees into pastures. We’ll focus in on the current method Trees For Graziers is using to establish trees. You’ll learn about tree species selection, protection methods, funding sources, shade for heat stress abatement, using tree fodder and more.

When: August 29, 2025. 9AM-3PM. Lunch is included.

Where: Greene Kitchen Farm, 150 Quarry Drive, Bloomsburg, PA 17815

Cost: $35 (event tuition is sponsored through a grant from Northeast SARE)

Who should come: Content will be geared towards professionals in the ag and conservation space, both TSPs and farmers that are ready to establish silvopasture.

Note: This is a 1-day event. We’ll also hold a 2-day workshop September 18-19.
