The International Online Congress on Beef Cattle (CONACORTE) is an event for all stakeholders in the beef production chain, especially for lovers of quality information from one of the largest world industries in the food segment. It is a sector responsible for a GDP of 6.5 billion dollars in 2018, 30% of the Agricultural GDP and 8.7% of the National GDP, with about 1.6 million tons of meat shipped, from 10 , 5 million heads slaughtered, of these 2.5 million exported to more than 140 countries. In 2019, more than half a trillion reais were handled in the beef market (ABIEC, 2019).With these numbers it is easy to understand why Brazil with an effective herd of around 215 million heads, second largest herd, second only to India, but has the largest commercial herd in the world.
Anyway, here we gather highly qualified professionals to discuss and discern on the horizons and frontiers of beef cattle raising in the national and international scene, ensuring that everyone has access to the most important things happening in the beef market.

Thus, we organized this event in three blocks, one on technological innovation in beef cattle called Pecuária 4.0, one on more sustainable arrangements and actions for an animal production that we call Sustainable Livestock and, finally, we included in the final block news and bottlenecks for beef cattle, which we call Horizons and Borders, just like the theme chosen for our 2020 congress.

CONACORTE will be held on November 16-19, 2020 and will feature big names in the field!
