Hello Shana here int the tropics we have and use several native tree species, either by pruning or by letting the animals feed directly from the tree-shrub. My silvopasture operation is with cattle (brahman), natural pasture and shrubs, and in some occasions  we use leaf feeding from bushes or from pruning trees.
