• Are you a forester, farmer, land manager or natural resource professional?

• Have you heard the term “silvopasture” and wondered what it might actually look like in Vermont?

• Are you concerned about the impacts of livestock in forested areas?

Join Joseph Orefice of Paul Smith’s College and Brett Chedzoy of Cornell Cooperative Extension in this working session about the practice and possibility of silvopasture in the Northeast.

Topics covered will include:

• Tree spacing, selection and stocking

• Forage establishment and management

• Grazing best management practices for silvopasture systems

• Silvopasture sustainability: regeneration, tree health and profitability
