Event Description
Traditional riparian forest buffers help protect our waterways by reducing agricultural run-off and soil loss while also providing shade and woody debris to enhance wildlife habitat. Multi-functional riparian buffers build on this idea by also allowing landowners to grow a perennial food crop in the buffer zone. Join us for the third installment of the NEMA Agroforestry Webinar Series, with Emily Lachiniet and Katie Commender of Appalachian Sustainable Development (ASD).
