DESCRIPTION:Interested in land stewardship that centers tree and fores
 t health alongside farming? Join us for a tour and discussion of the f
 arm systems we’ve been developing and learning from for the past 13 
 years on 20 acres. We will share our successes and failures, and engag
 e folks in discussion about future possibilities. \n\nWe will tour: 
 \n\nWillow trials where we are researching 12 varieties for their use 
 to support healthy water, soil, and provide fodder for our sheep\n\nOn
 going silvopasture management for sheep grazing; both shifting the com
 position of our woods as well as planting trees in pasture\n\nForest F
 arming of maple syrup and mushrooms\n\nTree nursery research we are do
 ing to cultivate and amplify mycorrhizal fungi \n\n\n\n10am - 2pm\n\n
 Cost: Active farmers are FREE with support from NE SARE Farmer Grant, 
 please indicate this on the registration.\nOther agencies, non-profit,
  or curious folks we are asking $25/person, but no one turned away for
