I was honored to present at Agroforesterie Francais' Colloque Trognes this winter. Proceedings should be published soon. Many inspiring overviews of traditional silvopasture systems involving pollards.
We are starting work on a SARE Farmer Grant project, Tree Leaf Fodder for Goats, Hogs, Sheep and Cows; Transitioning Farm Woodlots to ‘Air Meadow’ for Climate Resilience here in Belfst, ME; one more part-time intern is needed for May - October.
MOFGA is sponsoring and hosting Mon., July 9 of the Tree Fodder Seminar 2018, which runs July 8 - 14, mostly at 3 Streams Farm in Belfast, Maine. A working schedule draft can be found at www.3streamsfarmbelfastme.blogspot.com (the one below will not get updated as frequently).
