Forest Vegetation Management - FVM Network

Cornell's ForestConnect program is facilitating a network of forest vegetation practitioners to identify research needs and collectively build knowledge of safe and effective techniques. This network will focus on vegetation management in forest and woodlot environments using herbicide, mechanical or livestock methods. 

   You can help this network and identify needs by considering what forest vegetation management problems have an imperfect solution? For what plant control would you like additional information about efficacy, costs or profitability?  What prevents you from using a technique that you think might work?  What plant is especially difficult to control?

   You can share your questions and thoughts in one or both of two venues. You can share via an online form at http://bit.ly/FVM-needs . Alternatively, you can also participate in a web meeting on September 20, 2018 at 12:00 – 1:00 PM (longer as needed). This meeting will be full audio and allow participants to share their questions. Free registration, required, for the meeting is here http://bit.ly/FVM-register . This meeting is a discussion, not a technical presentation.
