Event Description

All One One All Farm is a 14-acre orchard, sheep microdairy, and educational farm in Goshen, NY. We're hosting a livestock-focused tour of the silvopasture system we've developed here in Orange County. This is our third growing season, and we've planted out over a thousand trees in between our wide orchard rows to provide shade and feed to our Karakul sheep. Many of the silvopasture trees are over 10' tall.

We've got mulberry, black locust, willow, poplar, false indigo, and a few others planted very densely, and kept cut low so the sheep can eat most of the leaves but still benefit from the distributed shade.
I'll share the ups and downs(!) of the establishment phase, and go through how we run the system now, and where it's headed. We're getting real shade/feed benefits this year, and I'm excited to share!
