Tell NY State Legislature and U.S. Congress what you think about soil health practices and legislation

Hi All,

I work with a nonpartisan organization to lobby for more support for silvopasture and other soil-health practices at both the state and national level. A number of bills and programs have been designed to help those producers who are interested in transitioning to soil health practices through grants, tax credits, crop insurance discounts, and improved access to voluntary carbon markets.

I'm helping our Ag Team conduct a survey that will help us communicate your views and those of other producers to the NY State Legislature and the U.S. Congress since we regularly meet with our members in both. Your opinions are valued.

Please take the survey online here.

Sincerely,

Nancy Jacobson

We are planning to have Senator Durbin on the farm in the next couple of months, what should we tell him about silvopasture policies?
