Agroforestry Note #50: Considerations for Establishing Silvopasture... is now online at the USDA National Agroforestry Center website. This technical note provides information on factors to consider when thinking about establishing silvopastures on wooded sites, including the planning approach, developing a team, and natural resource issues. The publication was coauthored by Brett Chedzoy (Cornell Cooperative Extension), Ashley Conway (University of Missouri), and John Fike (Virginia Tech).
In addition to the direct link to the PDF, it can also be accessed through the Publications page in the Agroforestry Notes section. It will also be shared through the next Agroforestry Connection email update, which you can sign up for here.
Other silvopasture publications from the USDA National Agroforestry Center are available here.
