Event Description

Brazil will have the honor to participate in the XXV IUFRO World Congress in 2019, in Curitiba, PR.
For the first time this congress will be held in Latin America and, for this reason, it is a unique initiative for the development of the region.
The companies hosting the event are the Brazilian Forest Service (SFB) and the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa).
The organizations support the event, such as government organizations, universities, research institutions and companies, as well as local tourism entities and Embratur.
The organization of the IUFRO congresses is the responsibility of two committees, the Congress Scientific Committee (CCC) and the Congress Organizing Committee (COC).

We invite you all to participate in the session: Productive Conservation: more sustainable systems

It is possible to create a permanent and profitable environment for production of forest and agroforest products and services. This session will evaluate, debate and disseminate information regarding Productive Conservation by bringing together professionals and producers interested and engaged in an agroforestry practice under the aegis of Productive Conservation; and by promoting inter- and multiinstitutional technical cooperation through research and extension networks.
