Hi Alex.  I just found the "blog" section of the silvopasture site and saw your post.  You would be welcome to visit our farm to see what we are doing with silvopasture.  We are early on the learning curve, so you'd have to evaluate how helpful a visit might be.  Curious thing is that I was thinking to myself over the Memorial Day weekend that a landscaper is a field of study that probably has a lot to contribute to figuring out the best answer to some of the silvopasture challenges in the North East.

Hi Maryanne,

Thanks so much for your response! Sorry it took me a while to get back to you; I graduated and then  moved and started a summer job. But I will be back in the Boston area and would love to come visit your farm in the end of the summer, if the offer is still open! The project that included silvopasture is over, but I'm still very interested in learning more about the practice, especially in the new england area. Perhaps I could contact you in August and find a time to visit? I know my partner in the project would also love to visit with me, so we could drive out together. Have a wonderful summer!

Best,

Alex
