Please describe, with two or three sentences, why you are interested in silvopasture. Your answer helps us ensure that only those people truly interested in silvopasture are added as members.
I worked in agroforestry systems in the tropics for years, and always wanted to have a farm when I came back to the US. Trees have always been one of my greatest passions, and I know now that integrating livestock into agricultural systems is of vital importance - so silvopasture seems to me the natural next step. My fiancé and I are currently interning on a sheep farm (without many trees) in Montana, but looking for property to establish our own farm in Cortland County, NY.
