Please describe, with two or three sentences, why you are interested in silvopasture. Your answer helps us ensure that only those people truly interested in silvopasture are added as members.
My interest in silvopasture revolves around understanding sustainable / healthy land and forest stewardship with animals, both in terms of land management and food production. Currently I work at a regenerative farming practice, Carversville Farm Foundation, where we practice multi-species grazing. We have a decently sized area of woods under a conservation easement, but goats have been permitted to forage there for control of invasives. I've come to understand many aspects of Agroforestry as very healthy solutions to problems in future food security, especially in the realm of "carbon farming."
Thanks for your time,
Ian Brunell
