Donks provide guard services for sheep.

"Have you ever had your small ruminants fenced with something less predator proof than electric netting with your donkeys around? I am already committed to training dogs, but an herbivorous guard animal sounds great. I have a neighbor who has had…"

I raise livestock on rented land. Most farms in my area are mostly wooded. I recently thinned out the trees on a small field that had been abandoned for 20 years for a silvopasture experiment. If it goes well I am going to discuss a larger project I have been thinking about on a farm I manage that's owned by a forester.
