As a Past President of The Northern Nut Growers Association, and the Founding President of The American Chestnut Foundation - it has been a natural progression. As of 2015 - we have permanently made Icelandic sheep and horses a critical part of our commercial chestnut production here in Minnesota. We just grew into it- and it works.
