Join Columbia Land Conservancy (Columbia County, NY) and Brett Chedzoy of Cornell Cooperative Extension (Schuyler County) us for a virtual workshop exploring Silvopasture.
Sign up here! (https://clctrust.org/event/silvopasture-workshop/)
With growing interest and opportunities for silvopasturing (integrated forage, timber and livestock production), what are the steps and key considerations for its successful integration in to land management strategies? Brett Chedzoy will share the contributions of silvopasturing to his own family’s farms, and his recommendations for others to adopt this innovative agroforestry system.
Brett Chedzoy works regionally as a forester with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County, is the Forest Manager of Cornell’s Arnot Teaching and Research Forest, and in his spare-time owns and manages large grazing operations in Central Argentina and Upstate New York that are largely comprised of silvopastures.
If you were unable to attend this event, a recording of this workshop is available here!
