Over the past few thousand years humans have worked to cut down large swaths of forest-land (of many types). Some for the production of meat-based protein and other parts for dwelling. Silvopasture as a practice has the potential to on one hand absorb large amounts of carbon dioxide (acting against the GHG effect) while allowing farmers to continue farming, and possibly adding new stable revenue streams.
