We are creating a permaculture farm on 10 acres in the North Georgia mountains (elevation 2800 ft.). We raise Kinder goats, chickens, and Ancona ducks. We are keenly interested in feeding our goats more browse and working toward producing most animal feed on the property. Feeding the goats seems to be the biggest challenge, and silvopasture (with trees protected) so that the goats don't just decimate them, is the route that makes the most sense, since goats prefer browse to grass.
