- I am interested in your research on Black Locust, since as an architect and landscape architect, I use wood in construction, including in the construction of exterior infrastructure. In the past, we have specified ipe due to its rot resistance, but am weening ourselves off this product which has negative ecological impact. My goal is too source for present Black locust planking for present projects, as well as to better understand its potential and constraints for planting in the forests of Quebec.
