Event Description

We are excited to welcome delegates from across Europe and worldwide to Co. Cork, Ireland on November 16th and 17th 2023 for the International Agroforestry Conference. We are bringing together a diversity of expert voices, both national and international, to discuss and highlight the multi-faceted benefits that trees can bring to farms and the wider environment. This event is suitable for farmers, students, researchers and anyone interested in the benefits of trees on farms.

This conference is funded by the Irish Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine
Keynote speakers: Senator Pippa Hackett, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Clive Bright (Irish Agroforestry Forum and Rare Ruminare). Speakers include Professor Jim McAdam (QUB), Eugene Curran (DAFM), Jack Nolan (DAFM), Tom Houlihan (Teagasc), Dr Lindsay Whistance (Organic Research Centre UK), Rachel Irwin (Teagasc), Dr Kathy Soder (USDA), Dr Gerry Lawson (EURAF), Hannes Bürckmann (Neuland+). More to be confirmed in the coming days.
