About the nursery:
We are a new nursery (4th year raising tree seedlings, 2nd year as a licensed nursery) specializing in regionally adapted tree crops for humans and animals in the Adirondack Region.
All plants are raised from seed/cutting right here on our farm located in the NY Champlain Valley (Zone 4a/5b).
We are continuously searching for and obtaining plant material suited for the harsh growing conditions of the North Country to add to our nursery collection. We are propagating and planting these plants around the farm and evaluating their potential to serve as part of a profitable tree crop enterprise.
We believe that farms and farmers can play an important role in tree crop selection and breeding. When you purchase plants from our nursery you are supporting and participating in our effort to identify and propagate tree crops to serve as the backbone to a more resilient and equitable food system. Thank you!
